On July 23rd at the Annual Business Session held in Montgomery, Athens Mayor Ronnie Marks (second from right) officially passed the President's Gavel to Guntersville Mayor Leigh Dollar (second from left), who became president on June 1 when he resigned from the role in order to allow her a full term since the League's Annual Convention slated for May was upended by COVID-19. Also on July 23rd, the membership elected Opelika Mayor Gary Fuller (left) as Vice President and Greg Cochran (right) as the League's fifth executive director in its 85-year history. In addition, the League unveiled its redesigned branding, which includes a refresh of its logo, a new web domain and many more exciting and progressive improvements slated for 2020/2021! Stay tuned!
