The National League of Cities will host its Congressional City Conference in Washington, D.C. on March 10-12, 2025, with pre-conference activities beginning March 8-9. This conference provides local leaders the tools and connections to build brighter futures for Alabama’s cities and towns, while also providing a great networking opportunity with peers throughout the United States. During the Congressional City Conference, Alabama will host its caucus meeting and reception on Sunday, March 9 from 4–6 p.m. at the Marriott Marquis (901 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20001). This event is free for attendees and League strategic partners.
The League will also host one joint reception with Alabama’s congressional delegation in lieu of having separate dinners for each district. This event will take place on Monday, March 10 from 6–8 p.m. at Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab. This event requires pre-registration and a fee.
In addition, the League will host a breakfast on Tuesday, March 11 from 8-10 a.m., with U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville and Sen. Katie Britt that requires pre-registration and a fee. This event will take place at the Marriott Marquis.
The deadline to register for these Alabama events is February 26, 2025.
